Terms & Conditions

1. Who these terms cover

By creating an account, registering for a race, or paying online, you agree to these terms for Sylhet Marathon 2026, organized by Sylhet Runners Club (the “Organizer”). If you register someone else, you confirm you have their permission.

2. Entries and eligibility

Each category has its own age limit, start time, and fee as shown on Race Info. Slots are limited. An entry is complete only after the Organizer confirms payment. Race management may change course, start times, or other details when safety or permits require it.

3. Fees and payment

Registration fees are in Bangladeshi Taka. You may pay by card, mobile wallet, internet banking, or bank transfer. Card and wallet payments are processed by SSLCOMMERZ on behalf of the Organizer. Bank transfers stay unpaid until the Organizer matches the payment to your invoice number.

Online payments are also subject to the SSLCOMMERZ terms and conditions.

4. Race kit and delivery

Your confirmation email is sent as soon as payment succeeds. Physical race kits (bib, timing chip, and related items) are collected at the official kit centre in Sylhet. If a kit or souvenir is couriered: inside Dhaka within 5 working days, and outside Dhaka within 10 working days after dispatch.

5. Conduct and liability

You take part at your own risk and should be medically fit for the chosen distance. Follow officials, police, and medical staff on course. The Organizer is not liable for delays, lost property, or injury beyond what Bangladesh law requires.

6. Data and third parties

We use your details to run the event, process payment, and send race updates. SSLCOMMERZ processes card and wallet data as the payment gateway. We do not sell runner data. Any third-party advertisement on this site is the Organizer’s responsibility.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated on this page. The version published when you tick the checkout box applies to that entry. Questions: info@sylhetmarathon.com.
